On October 21, 2026, the PHP project released PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35 to address CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619. Both vulnerabilities can enable unauthenticated remote code execution in affected deployments and carry reported CVSS v4.0 base scores of 9.2. CVE-2026-109619 can also expose memory. The pair is also known collectively as “PHP2Shell.” Salesforce is actively assessing its products, services, and infrastructure for potential impact. At this time, Salesforce has no evidence of exploitation affecting its systems or customer data. If we do, we will notify impacted customers without undue delay. Organizations managing PHP-based websites, applications, or third-party software should assess those environments and apply appropriate security updates.

Agents and humans are working closer together than ever before. But in order to build agents, apps, and AI experiences that your customers and employees can trust, you need more than a good model. You need a foundation that gives both people and agents the full picture to do their work. That’s why we built AIforce. Powered by the Headless Toolkit, it brings all of Salesforce’s capabilities, enterprise-grade security, and your unique business context directly to any surface where work is happening. By moving away from a static software model, we are shifting toward a central infrastructure for work that happens everywhere. At Salesforce, we deeply believe that we cannot just build tools for our customers without proving their value internally first. We call this principle “Customer Zero.” By testing our innovations in one of the most demanding enterprise environments in the world — our own — we ensure they are tested and ready for scale.

As enterprise data architectures grow increasingly complex, bridging the gap between raw data stores and business users becomes critical. Tableau Semantics in Tableau Next is built natively on Data 360 and translates raw database schemas into your business’ language with defined metrics, data relationships, and business preferences. Every organization runs on a shared understanding of its business: how revenue is defined, what qualifies as a strategic account, how risk is measured. A governed semantic layer ensures every person, agent, and application speaks the exact same data language. This means data definitions and business context are consistent across your organization, from self-service dashboards to ad-hoc reporting and AI-powered insights across Slack, Agentforce, or any third-party agent via MCP. Unlike legacy BI setups that lock calculations inside individual reports, Tableau Semantics decouples business logic from presentation. Define a metric like “churn rate” once, and it becomes securely consumable across both human analytics and autonomous AI agents without duplication or logic drift. Central to Tableau Semantics are semantic models, which serve as your organization’s “single source of truth.” Building a semantic model is about so much more than connecting tables — its design is critical for performance, governance, and scale.

For Salesforce ISV partners, a one-size-fits-all licensing model can mean leaving revenue on the table. When every user receives the same level of access, partners face a difficult tradeoff: charge the same price regardless of usage, or offer lower-cost tiers without the granular controls to enforce them. Neither approach gives partners the flexibility to monetize their solutions based on how customers actually use them. At Dreamforce, we shared how AgentExchange is evolving into a unified destination where humans and agents can discover, evaluate, purchase, and manage partner solutions. With AgentExchange Commerce, partners can unify procurement and billing through private offers with tailored pricing and terms. Now, Permission Set Licenses (PSLs) for Second-Generation Managed Packages (2GP) help partners take tiered monetization a step further. By defining granular feature access within a single package and automating license provisioning, partners can offer differentiated pricing tiers with platform-enforced controls—without the manual overhead of traditional licensing. Historically, managing licenses via the License Management App (LMA) introduced significant operational friction:

If you’re a knowledge worker, you open a browser, log in, navigate to the right screen, pull up the right record, and act. If you’re a builder, you’re deciding whether to keep building around that experience — or to skip it entirely. As organizations increasingly rely on both human employees and AI agents, the gap between browser-bound and headless approaches is growing. It can be the difference between whether your AI investments compound or stall. A headless architecture is when the business logic and data layer of a platform is separated from its user interface. In a traditional setup, the browser is the binding layer — it is how users access data, trigger workflows, and interact with the system. In a headless architecture, that dependency is removed. For Salesforce, going headless means that everything the platform has built over 27 years — customer data models, workflow automation, compliance controls, permissions and governance — is now available as a programmable surface. AI agents can read, write, and act on Salesforce data the same way a human would through the UI, but without any of the navigation overhead. The result is the Headless Toolkit, which enables every Salesforce capabilities accessible via API, MCP, or CLI. That means humans and AI can co-create using the same trusted data, logic, and governance your business already relies on.

Data 360 is a powerful platform for ingesting, processing, unifying, and activating customer data from various sources. However, architecture choices can significantly impact credit consumption. Organizations can incur unnecessary costs through inefficient ingestion, processing, and consumption strategies. In Data 360, many usage types calculate credit consumption based on records processed or accessed, rather than just the number of rows returned. This means inefficient pipelines that scan millions of rows but return only a handful of rows can consume credits without delivering proportionate business value. By aligning ingestion choices with row-processing mechanics, architects can significantly lower credit consumption while maintaining system performance. This post explores high-impact strategies for reducing rows processed across the ingestion pipeline to optimize data volume and manage costs. The choice of ingestion method influences the number of rows processed by Data 360, which serves as the primary driver of credit consumption. Any data filtered or kept outside the platform incurs zero processing cost. Standard ingestion routes duplicate and register every row within the data lakehouse, whereas zero-copy architectures allow querying without replicating it.

Dreamforce 2026 marked a shift for Life Sciences: from promise to proof. We spent the last several quarters building and selling the vision. Now, we’re helping our customers move from early adoption to real, live implementations and measurable value with in-production numbers growing by the day. We unveiled new innovations across clinical and commercial for pharma and medtech customers: Regulated Content Management, Command Center for Life Sciences, and AIforce for Life Sciences, and were joined by more than 2,800 attendees for Life Sciences globally. We were just recognized by Forrester as the leader in Agentic AI for Life Sciences Commercial. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. – Joe Ferraro At the Life Sciences Keynote, Rewriting the Script with Agentforce, we shared why legacy, siloed systems have held our industry back: content teams wait months for MLR review, care gaps get caught too late, and half of drug launches miss their forecast. Today the industry sees just 28% approval from HCPs for how they’re engaged, a signal that point solutions and generic LLMs alone cannot fix. - Regulated Content Management — the first live demo of an agent first platform that moves compliance upstream, connecting claims, evidence, references, and obligations as living data so content enters MLR review ready. Early adopters starting now. - Command Center for Life Sciences — the AI control plane for the industry, unifying clinical, commercial, and medical signals, root causing issues like authorization barriers, and routing recommended actions.

Winter is almost here, and it’s bringing our biggest wave yet of agentic capabilities to Marketing Cloud. This release pushes deeper into autonomous discovery, planning, content creation, and campaign optimization, all designed to move marketers from managing mechanics to owning strategy. Here’s what’s new. Buying decisions are rarely made by one person, but most marketing tools still treat them that way. Account Discovery Agent solves that by identifying, monitoring, and analyzing engagement across an account’s entire buying committee, not just isolated individuals. Living natively inside Salesforce, it looks directly at CRM data to summarize accounts and opportunities and flag who’s engaging (and who’s going dark) — giving sales and marketing teams a shared, real-time view of account-level buying signals and sentiment. Account Discovery Agent goes GA in October ’26. Producing on-brand, multilingual content across every channel used to mean multiple briefs, multiple reviewers, and multiple delays. Campaign Agent: Agentic Content transforms campaign intent directly into personalized, on-brand, multilingual content across Email, SMS, RCS, and MMS, grounded in your customer data and brand guidelines. It’s vibe-first: the agent generates channel-ready variations simultaneously, with approvals and brand compliance built in from the start. Preset, hand-built journeys can only account for so many paths. Campaign Agent: Agentic Campaigns replaces them with goal-driven campaigns that adapt to every customer’s context in real time. Marketers set the outcome they want and let the agent orchestrate the rest, freeing them to focus on strategy instead of managing campaign mechanics. Campaign Agent is GA now.

The industry is shifting from simple inventory tracking to intelligent lifecycle orchestration. AI agents are replacing spreadsheets, ticket queues, and static dashboards – making hardware management feel like a conversation, not a process. Rather than wading through theory, this post dives straight into concrete, real-world examples of exactly what the future of Hardware Asset Management looks like. Driven by recent breakthroughs in the Agentic AI landscape, the evolution of IT asset management has arrived at a critical crossroads. We are moving toward a new era for 2026 and beyond. This innovative future of ITSM replaces static record-keeping with an intelligence-driven ecosystem where autonomous agents orchestrate the hardware lifecycle, system fuses seamlessly with the CMDB, and the employee experience truly shines. But most organizations are still stuck in the old model. Employees navigate portals and submit tickets to get a device. Asset managers monitor dashboards and manually chase down refresh responses. Compliance teams scramble before audits to reconcile spreadsheets that were outdated the moment they were exported. The tools got prettier over the years – but the experience never fundamentally changed. Someone always has to initiate. Someone always has to follow up. Someone always has to check.
