Aero Legion Returns: Our WW2 Aircraft Pack, Rebuilt for 2026
Publisher preview
Ten years ago, a client came to us with a big order: a full fleet of WW2 aircraft and the pilots to fly them. We built it. Then the project never took off, and the whole fleet stayed with us. Most studios would archive the files and move on. We couldn’t. By then the planes were more than a contract to us. So we gave them a name, Aero Legion, and released them ourselves. Now, a decade later, we’re rebuilding the whole fleet from the hangar up. The brief was a WW2 air war over China and the Pacific. Fighters, bombers, and transports from every side of that sky, plus the airmen sitting in their cockpits. We took it seriously from day one. The team dug into the history of the air battles over China and the technical and visual specs of every aircraft that took part. Microsoft Flight Simulator was a big inspiration. Colors, national markings, and pilot stickers were picked for each aircraft type with history in mind.
