How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, maintain candidate and recruiter workspaces, search and filter the catalog, compare profiles with roles, generate requested documents, manage shortlists, jobs and in-app conversations, track applications, and operate or troubleshoot the service.
ApplyDjin does not sell or rent candidate profile data and does not use it to create behavioral advertising audiences in the current product.
Saved vacancy searches are private from employers and recruiter-workspace members, but they are not anonymous to ApplyDjin: the service stores them against your account so it can evaluate alerts and build your in-app digest.
Recruiter discovery and anonymous mode
Candidate profiles are not included in recruiter search by default. A candidate must turn on Active search before other members with a recruiter workspace can discover the profile.
Turning on Active search also allows a recruiter-workspace member to start an in-app conversation about a role. ApplyDjin does not reveal the candidate’s account email or direct contact details through messaging, and Anonymous mode continues to mask identifying fields inside the conversation.
Anonymous mode reduces identifying detail inside developer search. It masks the candidate’s city, company names, experience descriptions and domains, education, certifications, and portfolio links. Recruiters can still see fit signals including country, target role, category, experience level, salary expectations, work preferences, skills, and languages.
Anonymous mode is not a guarantee of anonymity outside ApplyDjin. Visiting an external employer website or sending an application is governed by that destination and may identify the candidate to its recipient.
AI providers and infrastructure
When you use an AI-assisted feature, relevant text may be sent to the AI provider configured for that request. Depending on the feature, this can include profile, resume, vacancy, or drafting context. Avoid adding information that the task does not require.
Hosting, storage, and other technical providers process service data as needed to run the application. Opening an employer or other third-party link takes you to that party’s service and privacy practices.
Retention and choices
Account content is retained while it is needed to provide the workspace and for legitimate operational or legal needs. Some records may persist in backups or logs for a limited period after removal from the live product.
You can edit much of your profile and delete individual workspace items through the product. Full account deletion is not currently self-service; follow the account-request guidance on Contact & support.
Age, changes, and questions
ApplyDjin is intended for people old enough to seek employment and manage their own account. It is not directed to children under 16.
