Project description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end household appliances, is expanding into new smart product lines. As part of this strategic initiative, a large-scale global program is being implemented across the company's IP portfolio. This includes the development of new embedded software, enhancements to cloud infrastructure, and the creation of innovative interfaces within the mobile application. As a backend engineer you will be responsible for cloud part for AI related modules.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Design, build, and deploy scalable microservice applications using AWS ECS (Docker containers), Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, ElastiCache, and Load Balancers

2. Collaborate across engineering teams to build modern web interfaces and backend services using AWS, React, .NET Core, Node.js/TypeScript, and Python

3. Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance microservices using C# .NET Core, Node.js (TypeScript), and Python

4. Create responsive, intuitive user interfaces using React.js

5. Define and manage cloud resources on AWS using CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code)

6. Write robust unit tests and automated end-to-end (E2E) tests for software reliability and code quality

7. Monitor, measure, and investigate production issues to ensure platform health and stability

8. Participate in team-based development sessions, code reviews, and use dedicated Personal Innovation time to explore emerging technologies

SKILLS

Must have

  • - Backend Microservices (C# .NET Core, Node.js/TypeScript, Python):

Strong hands-on experience developing microservices using all three stacks

  • Frontend (React.js): Demonstrated experience building web applications with React.js and modern JavaScript
  • AWS Cloud & IaC (CloudFormation): Proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation
  • Testing (Unit & E2E): Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and automated end-to-end testing tools
  • Containers & CI/CD: Familiarity with Docker/virtualization tools alongside CI/CD pipelines
  • Agile Delivery: Proven experience delivering production-grade software within Agile development teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Knowledge of additional Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring solutions such as AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana.
